Guan Eng Ignores Reality And Says Entire Nation Can be Like Penang

Lim Guan EngPenang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is too modest a man to take all the credit for what has been achieved in his state, but he has kindly proffered to voters what he thinks will be a winning pitch for GE13: Vote for Pakatan and the whole country can be just like Penang.
"If you want to be as good as Penang, you must vote for us. See what we've done for Penang," he boasted in a recent interview.

GE13 is Already Creating Winners and Losers in Pakatan

hasan-ali-for-seeingIt's a strange day when we start agreeing with the wisdom of former PAS leader Datuk Dr Hasan Ali Hasan, but his very latest pronouncement will have many political observers unexpectedly nodding in agreement. He says PAS has the most to lose by being part of Pakatan Rakyat at GE13.
Hasan's argument is basic and in his usual fashion, bluntly put. He says the compromises PAS has made to its core values for the sake of harmony in the coalition will cause voters to abandon it.
"[Datuk Seri] Anwar [Ibrahim] is a burden on PAS. Azmin [Ali] too is a burden on PAS. Karpal Singh, who has all this while clearly rejected the Islamic state and hudud, is a burden on PAS...," he told Berita Minggu.

Kerajaan penuhi janji

NAJIB TUN RAZAK, Perdana Menteri

GE13 ” MP Hulu Rajang…A Darkhouse..?? “

GE13 cannot come sooner for those who after months of lobbying will be hoping that their name will be the ”chosen one for their party” BN/PRS have three very “capable and winnable” candidates and each of them have their grassroot supporters.

Who will it be amongst them will be known come nomination day.

Wilson Ugak claims that he has the blessing of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Tan Sri James Masing to stand as a Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate in Hulu Rajang in the coming general election.
Billy Abit says he is very much still confident and winnable as the incumbent and will be hoping that his more than ”cordial” links with his long term association with the Federal leaders will be enough for him to be renominated.
Liwan Lagang says a source to audie61 must not be ruled out and might justs be the answer BN/PRS holding on to the parliamentary constituency.  A DARKHOUSE..??
George Lagong who won as an independant in the lasts state elections in the Pelagus area remains a favourite to join in the fray. A phone call to him today on Ugaks statement he justs said,”Very Good.Let’s wait and see”
PKR and SNAP will be weighing their options and there will be not short of candidates as the parties feel this constituency will be up for grabs as there are many issues in their favour to be addressed.

WHO WILL BE THE WINNER AND CLAIM  P216..??

GE13″Dates Set …??”

PM had mosts political pundits at the edge of their seats when he was quoted to have said this”“rasa-rasa bunyi (PRU) dah dekat (feel the sounds  (of elections) are near).”
Anyone in his shoes will be playing mind games to gauge the mood of the voters who will be casting their votes to elect and give a new mandate to the representatives who will be governing the country.
Some are getting bolder with dates thrown in to make it more juicy. Politics is after all Perception and getting the right feel and the timing is absolutely vital for the PM in office. He has till 2013 and if he decides to sit in for the whole term no one can blame him.
He took over from Abdullah Badawi who led the BN coalition to a mosts disastrous GE12 outing. 140-82 seats in Parliament and not having 2/3rds majority led to Abdullah leaving office after being pushed out in ‘shame’by the UMNO warlords.
Najib needs to perform better or he too will be forced to vacate the Presidency of UMNO through yet another ouster. The opposition has daringly informed Najib of the wrongdoings in the present BN government and Najib is walking on thin ice.
Pakatan facebookers and blogs have even listed them accordingly which has sent shivers but its curable by any political standards. BN will be facing the ‘mother of all battles “and both sides Pakatan and BN have their fair share of problematic areas and issues.
Its up to Najib and his coalition partners in BN to dissect and put right what has been done to emerge victorious or face the music of being setn packing out of Putrajaya by Pakatan. The following has beeen picked up as issues which will be used against BN.
  • NFC FIASCO
  • MAS-AIRASIA SHARE SWAP
  •  LYNAS ISSUE
  •  FELDA LISTING
  •  CIVIL SERVANTS PAY REVIEW
  •  INDIAN GROUSES, ELECTION REFORM
  •  SHORTAGE OF CHINESE SCHOOL TEACHERS
  •  HIGH COST OF LIVING
  •  UNFAIR  DEVELOPMENTS IN EAST MALAYSIA
  •  UNFAIR EDUCATION SYSTEM FOR ALL
There are other issues which differs from state to state but the National issues will be closely monitored by both sides of the political divide. The Pakatan ruled states will be under attack by the BN as they are the opposition.
Many political personalities are making their intentions known and some are going all out to have an impact in their chosen seats. No one wants to be left out and the PM is and will have the dates closely guarded even though some justs refuse to let PM rests until he dissolves Parliament.

What lies ahead is anyones guess……

ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE..??

Pakatan only needs 100 MPs to take power, says Guan Eng

March 22, 2012
KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 — Lim Guan Eng believes that his Pakatan Rakyat (PR) pact needs to win just 100 federal seats in a general election that must be called by May next year to take over Putrajaya as “Umno will implode.”
The DAP secretary-general said PR “might not be able to make” up the 112 lawmakers for a majority in Parliament in its first federal polls as a formal coalition but the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) will collapse if the national opposition holds the majority in the peninsula.
“This election is harder. We might not be able to make it; we don’t need 112 seats to win power. Just 100.
“If we are the majority party in Peninsular Malaysia, do you think there will be any permanent loyalties from Barisan Nasional parties in Sabah and Sarawak?” the Penang chief minister asked in an interview with The Malaysian Insider this week.
He also predicted if “we get 90 seats in peninsula and 10 in Sabah and Sarawak,” then Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will try to topple Umno president and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Lim (picture) pointed to how Najib himself took over both posts from Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi just a year after the latter led the ruling coalition to its worst electoral performance ever in March 2008.
“You think Muhyiddin won’t challenge Najib? It is a given. Then Umno will implode. It’s an entirely different ballgame,” the Bagan MP said.
Lim’s DAP had entered into an informal electoral pact with PKR and PAS in Election 2008 which saw them win a record 82 federal seats and deny BN its customary two-thirds majority in Parliament and five state governments.
The three opposition parties gained slightly more than half the popular vote in the peninsula, winning 80 out of 166 seats available.
The three parties soon formed Pakatan Rakyat with PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim insisting 30 MPs would defect to PR by September 16, 2008 and end the ruling parties’ 50-year rule since the country achieved independence.
This election is harder. We might not be able to make it; we don’t need 112 seats to win power. Just 100.
The opposition leader was believed to have targeted mainly Sabah and Sarawak lawmakers especially after the Sabah Progressive Party, which has two MPs, pulled out of BN.
However, the former deputy prime minister’s promise was never fulfilled and Najib’s ascension also saw a revitalised BN reverse a string of by-election defeats.
But Najib replaced Abdullah ostensibly to improve on the 140 seats won four years ago and observers believe only a return to two-thirds majority can guarantee he remains in power.
In a boost to his confidence, a survey last month by independent pollsters Merdeka Center showed his approval rating has surged by 10 percentage points to 69 per cent on the back of an improving economy and the cash handout of RM500 to low-income earners under the Bantuan Rakyat 1 Malaysia.
Lim has also previously said the opposition must improve its tally in Sabah and Sarawak from two to at least one-third of the 56 federal seats on offer to give it any chance of taking power.
But he said in the interview “we have to be realistic — this will be tough but not impossible
