Mass Resignation at PKR Due to Disillusion With Leadership

It was more bad news for PKR Monday as its Ladang Perbadanan Taman Rio branch was dissolved after 50 of its members, who formed the majority of the branch, decided to quit the party.
The chairman of the branch, Muruli Maramayan, said the decision was taken due to the empty talk of PKR leaders and their failure to fulfil their promises.
"We were not compelled by anyone," Muruli said. "We made the decision on our own because we are disappointed with the leadership."
Muruli said that the former PKR members would now support and assist Barisan Nasional (BN) in the coming general elections.
