PKR Election Fund ? Is it Legal . ?
People Rights by Dayakbaru.com
How Do we Fight BN money politic March 2nd, 2009
The State BN has bottomless monetary resources at their disposal. Opposition has to depend on contribution from its supporter, particularly PKR.
Please donate to PKR Batang Ai by-election fund generously. Your $5-$10 may save Sarawak and our children future.
Those interested to donate can contact Bawin or PKR HQ specifying the purpose of your donation.
( Limaudong: It is very suprisingly to note that PKR is having a Batang Ai By Election Fund. My advise to those who wish to donate, please think twice before you make donations. To me, I am questioning the legality of setting this fund. It is good to be generous but if you feel that you are cheated, please vote for BN )

Dilarang guna Allah
Oleh HAMDEN RAMLI
KOTA KINABALU 28 Feb.

Karpal Singh Vs Sultan Azlan Shah

‘Tiada asas mulakan prosiding’
sumber: utusan
KUALA LUMPUR 12 Feb.

BN claims Power ?
| Perak gov't collapses - BN claims power |
| Feb 4, 09 12:12pm |
LIVE REPORTS 5.50pm: Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim accuses BN of trying to form government in Perak 'by hook or by crook'. "We are pushing for a dissolution of the state assembly and fresh elections in the state. We must go back to the people and get a fresh mandate," he tells AFP. "BN is trying to form the state government by hook or by crook - more by crook." 5.35pm: Mohd Nizar leaves the palace after meeting Sultan Azlan Shah. He tells reporters that he has informed the sultan of his request to dissolve the state assembly. "It is now up to Tuanku (his highness)," he adds with a smile. The meeting lasted almost two hours. 5.08pm: 'PERAK GOVERNMENT FALLS' Najib tells a press conference that Barisan Nasional has the support of the four former Pakatan Perak assemblypersons - three will be "BN-friendly" Independents, while Nasarudin will rejoin Umno. Najib will meet the Perak sultan as soon as possible. He says it is up to the sultan to decide on Nizar's request for dissolution of the assembly. "All three state representatives - Jamaluddin, Osman and Hee - have submitted resignation letters to their former parties and have informed the sultan of their resignation. Nasarudin denies the claim that he has been abducted. However the final decision now hinges on the Sultan of Perak - if he accedes to a Pakatan request for dissolution or allows BN to form the new government. 5.05pm: Mohd Nizar is still at Istana Kinta. 4.28pm: It is learnt that Bota representative Nasarudin Hashim is at the DPM's office, waiting to be introduced to the media by Najib. With Nasarudin's reversal of his defection, BN and its independent allies now have 31 seats against Pakatan Rakyat's 28. 4.25pm Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi, Osman Jailu and Hee Yit Foong are present at the DPM's office. It is believed that Najib will announce their entry into BN at his press conference. 4pm: DPM Najib Abdul Razak is expected to begin his press conference in Putrajaya soon. Proposal Native Customary Land Trust Board (NCLTB)
Native Customary Land Trust Board
Written by gkm2020
Reference: Dr John’s article - Dayak: Moving Forward
Introduction
Native Customary Land Trust Board (NCLTB): A proposed trusteeship role responsible for the purpose of securing, protecting, promoting, managing land ownership rights assigned or owned and to facilitate commercial transactions to revolve around use it on behalf of the native owner(s) and/or indigenous peoples living in Sarawak. In that regard, the trustee must see that the interest of the landowner is never compromised.
Dayaks Common Voice
The trustee is the common voice of the Dayak indigenous landowners who is required to work in partnership with government and/or corporate sectors and other investment communities in the development of the Native Customary Rights Land of Sarawak. Native land under its control would encompass kilometers of beachfront, flatlands, and every other landform of unlimited usage.
NCLTB Roles
The Board must ensure that any development over native land will bring the best economical return to the present and future landowner. The indigenous landowner had unconditionally put his total faith behind this organization when he entrusted the administration of his land to the Board. It is the Board’s sacred duty to protect that trust. A land trust is a non-profit organization that, as all or part of its mission, actively works to conserve land by undertaking or assisting in land or conservation easement acquisition, or by its stewardship of such land or easements
Vision
NCLTB: Building wealth, resources and prosperity from Native Customary Land for all Dayaks.
NCR Land Trust Board initiatives/provisions would include the followings:
1. Establish two primary Proposed Operating Companies (POCs):
- NCR Landbanking Corporation Berhad;
- NCR Land Development Berhad;
- Secondary SPVs would includes:
- NCR Land Management Berhad
- NCR Land Cooperatives for all Dayaks
- NCR Land Trust Foundation
- Community Land Trust Association
- Community Land & Housing Berhad
- NCLTB Golf & Recreation Club House
- Others as it deemed benefit or advantage to it establishment.
2. Provide land grant and/or land title to landowner.
3. Provide land based products and services for customers.
4. Provide land management systems and processes for customers.
5. Provide land based investment opportunities for customers.
6. Provide land based legal services for customers.
7. Provide new business development and investment incentive for customers.
8. Provide customer services with stakeholders.
9. Others as it deemed fit and necessary.
How NCLTB Initiative Benefit The Dayaks?
1. We create jobs directly to and/or form a smart-partnership with the landowners and the majority of the Dayaks.
2. We would enter into a new Dayaks corporate agenda both regional and/or global.
3. We create direct or indirect business platforms and opportunities for all Dayak communities.
4. We would be able to help enhance Dayaks standard of living.
5. We could create new affordable housing and essential social facilities to all Dayaks affected areas.
6. We could create financial structure products to help uplift our Dayak Economic Policy.
7. We could create SME/SMI directly with registered Dayak cooperatives and/or associations.
8. We could create major industries (upstream & downstream) with the communities affected by the development and/or redevelopment.
9. We create Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for all Dayaks affected by the development(s).
10. We create good corporate governance in managing the landbanks.
11. We could create new technical skill and research centers from this development.
12. We could empower and enhance all Dayaks cooperatives to the next level.
13. We could create new alliances and strengthen our network for Dayaks in all sectors.
14. We could create Dayak Revolving Funds and/or Trust Funds for Dayaks.
15. We compliment government various initiatives to develop our State.
16. We could ease government burden through this development.
17. We generate income for the government from corporate tax and others.
18. Many others that you could possibly imagine.
General Thinking & Questions:
By the way, what have Bangsa Dayaks achieved so far under the BN government administration for the last 45 years? Where are we now? What are we going to do about it? When are we going to do it? What are the possibilities (at least 10 possibilities)? “Enti ka-sigi ulih, Enti-enggai alu nadai”
Who say Dayaks are not ready to help develop their very own NCR Land? Who say we are ignorance in developing our own native lands, only because we were not given any chance and/or opportunity(s) and have been “blocked” from going forward.
I believe and very optimistic that we can positively do better but fair to the Dayak landowners than SALCRA, PELITA, SLDB, NCR Konsep Baru and others if we were given a chance and opportunity.
Let us look forward and see if the Sarawak BN government is keen to support DayakBaru’s initiative and surrender all NCR Lands to be developed and managed directly by Dayaks trustees under NCR Land Trust Board. We do no harm to the government but help create new initiative for the Dayak communities to be at par with others and yet benefit the government too. This is part of our social-service partnership with the government and for the Dayak communities in general. This is a win-win situation for all!
So to all Dayaks-in-Christ and also our Dayaks Muslim brothers/sisters, I would leave this forum open for you to think and decide. We need to think beyond tomorrow and become an alternative thinker of tomorrow!
Sampi DayakBaru:
Agi Idup, Agi Ngelaban. Agi Ulih, Agi Mansang…Hoo…Haa…Aram Meh Kitai… Sama-Sama Besatu, Sama-Sama Segula-Sejalai, Sama-Sama Beradu Ka Penemu Mansang Ka Bangsa Dayak Malaysia. Maju Dayak, Maju Bangsa!
Conclusion
Together we can protect, defend, manage and undertake to develop our NCR land (our great ancestral land). Together we build and develop our betterment tomorrow, and tomorrow begin today. It’s time for us to pursue and make such Change We Must.
Don’t be naïve, don’t be ignorance, don’t be afraid and don’t make stupid decision because it would harm us and divide us further. Rise and empower ourselves now. NCR Land Trust Board is for all Dayaks, by Dayaks and from Dayaks, and through it establishment we can stand tall and be at par with others. Believe me! So help me God!
Auk…mupuk dulu aku unggal/wai…ila kitai berandau baru…..alu bedau mau unggun api aku nya deh…..aram anggat enda nyaup aku nuan?
Happy reading and May God bless all Dayaks with happiness, good health, success and victory always!
((Limaudong Said: EXECELLENT PROPOSALS from gkm2020 but only a handful DAYAK is reading Dayakbaru blog and SAD to say our " alfraid " Alfred jabu is not keen to creat a blog to support and defend our own Dayak's rights regarding of NCR issues in the Sarawak. BN Sarawak, please, please take proactive steps because we don't want BN candidate loose seat nesx PRU-10 Sarawak or decreasing in mojority votes. ))

WHAT HE SAY !!!!!!

Written by Dr.John Brian Anthony
BN false claim
When the price of rubber was high - $5-$7 per kilo, the BN State government claimed it is because of their good work. The radio was trumpeting it everyday explaining the brilliance of BN policies.
Today the price of rubber is very low. Will the BN claim that the low rubber price is also caused by them? If the former is true than the latter should be true that the price situation is directly attributed to BN initiatives.
We all know both are nonsensical BN claims. BN can fool the uneducated farmers but they cannot fool those who understand economics. BN leadership has stooped so low in trying to impress the poor folk by blatant lies when in actual fact they have done nothing to raise rubber or oilpalm prices.
What is BN doing for the poor farmer now?
Jabu should be heading a taskforce to help poor farmers. Unfortunately old age and lack of knowledge by Jabu would hinder his ability to perform as a senior Minisiter. Might as well he fade saway quickly before the next state election. Better not to overstay your welcome.
By now jabu should be thinking of:
providing minimum allowances to small holding farmers - at least $200.00 per month
lower down the price of fertilizer by 50%
increase government aid for subsidize seedlings
create a price subsidy for rubber and palm oil through the “windfall tax” of palm oil /rubber
do something - BN MINISTERS -just do not sit in your big comfortable office and talk down to the poor people.
Why are we suffering so much poverty in rural sarawak?
It is because of the misuse and abuse of State assets and natural resources by BN State government. This Sarawak State government has even achieved and adopted a “refine methods” of taking State resources ( 12 dams, timber replanting, issuance of provisional lease for plantation ) that are legally correct but MORALLY WRONG as these projects allow a selected group of people to enjoy.
These selected Group of people are Taib household members and relatives, political family members of the State Cabinets and Elected Representatives themselves. Politic to them is the venue to abuse their power and rape the Sarawak State of CONTRACTS and LINCENSE for extraction and mining of natural resources. Is that the reason why Sarawak voters elect them to the DUN?
It is a gross mismanagement of the State assets and natural resources. Non of these project benefited rural Sarawak at all. It brings much miseries though.
What did Rural Sarawak got from BN politic of development.
Lies
More Lies
Poverty
More poverty
Deceit
More deceit
Undermine personal rights of poor farmers
Suppression of Dayak adat and cultural practices
Even that is not bad enough. Now rural Sarawak suffer even more:
dirty water from logging and plantation
more sickness and death from logging
more health problem from plantation chemical
less food from the forest, protein from river and ikan Jabu is eating up other species
less raw material for local handicrafts used
Ask ourselves this questions?
Did forestry and logging give us better roads infrastructure in rural areas?
Has the quality of rural education been improved through extra earning?
What economic growth has been generated in rural Sarawak through logging and plantation?
What basic facilities (water/electricity) for the people has improved in logged out areas?
What scholarship has been awarded to those in the logged and planted areas?
(many more)
Look at those who benefit from logging, forest replanting and plantation.
who has become filty rich and control the print media - PBB and SUPP businessmen
who has use the riches as an election war chest and undermine /marginalize the poor?
who started to own large landed property when bumiputera natives are not given land titles
who has abuse and show disrespect of dayak cultures
(many more - not written to avoid uncontrolled negativity).
Conclusion
Let us Sarawakian not look at small ethnics matters - we focus on the big threat that we are facing enforce upon us by BN.
It is also true that State Government are refusing entry to PR politician into Sarawak. It is an abuse of the special privilege clause. That is not what the “clause” is intended for - nevertheless, it is just a case of abuse of power in the name of the people of Sarawak.
BN should be more responsible when entrusted with the power to govern. BN should be working to solve the people’sproblem as it is today that is cause by low rubber and palm oil prices for small holding farmers. The political leaders should be talking and listening to the people to offer help and assistance.
Today BN continue to play politics with Tuai Rumah and other category of Community leaders to instil fear in them not to go against the government. At least that is what YB Stephen Rundi is doing in Bintulu by taking advantage of the good office of the District Officer to organize political forum to carry political indoctrination.

Alfred Jabu - Tak Minat Buat Blog

KUCHING 21 Jan.
( sumber Utusan )

The Government will not allow any motion from the Opposition
The Government will not allow any motion from the Opposition
Written by Ari Ujan Belama (AUB)
This is AUB response to another article that reported “DUN motion on land issue- terminated by Speaker”
“This article is outstanding in that it helps us understand the how DUN works from the eyes of AUB. The implication of AUB confirmation that Dayak NCR land are recognized by government means Dayak with land that are being infringed on by Provisional lease should take matters to court immediately. Also, AUB argued that people who are successful do not need a government. How true is this statement? (Dr. John Brian Anthony)
Dayak NCR Land
Well the Dayak only have NCR land and it is being recognised by the State government and also by the Federal Court. If you don’t believe look at the case of Nyawai and other Vs Borneo Pulp and papers and the givernment of Sarawak.
Opposition do not have the numbers
Even if Wong motion is accepted by the Speaker, it will not become a bill because they don’t have the numbers. They are only FIVE of them, how can the bill be approved.
Wong, to be want to be a hero to the Chinese community. It was actually the Chinese communities that he is trying to fight for for all we know, it is the Chinese population that own most mixed zone land and also title land in Sarawak.
Dayak land is worthless!
What the Dayak owned probably the native area land which is only fit for agriculture and also the untitled NCR land.
Opposition motion is not allow – government will used any mean to kill it
My argument is simple, the government will not allow any motion from the opposition to be tabled in the august house. Never in the history of Malaysian Parliamentary democracy has Parliament or DUN allow motions by the opposition to be discussed.
Successful Dayak people do not need the government
Well, Dr. John may be right, but as a Dayak, who are diverse, and who are still in the backwaters of Sarawak, we still need the government.
Dr. John does not need them because he is already very successful, drives a E320 mercedes benz and owns a beautiful house in KL. While we are still poor.
